Hi friends, Dob here with a puzzle drop, and this time it’s an extra special one: my first solo cryptic! You heard me. I’ve been hard at work on this for quite a while and I’m really proud of this thing I made.
A huge thanks to cryptic setters extraordinare Steve Mossberg and Sara Goodchild for test solving this and helping me make it ready for public consumption (disclaimer: any issues with these clues should be attributed to me and only me, as I only mostly took their sage advice). You can find Steve’s cryptics from his patreon and The Browser. Sara is also on the roster at The Browser, in addition to New Scientist. Go do literally all their puzzles!

As always, if you solve it, stream it, like it, or hate it, I’d love to know, so consider leaving a comment below or emailing us. Thanks and hope you enjoy!

  1. 15:49, 5D kept me from finishing in a reasonable time, I'm not able to keep up with you young'uns, otherwise very smooth.
Thanks for the shoutouts at 3A, 15A, and 18D.
Thanks also for the momentary distraction from family drama and as always increasing my FOMO of keeping up with you puzzle making geniuses.
