Hi, remember us? We don’t either. This blog has been in hibernation for almost a year, while we’ve been consumed by our cryptic crossword venture Cryptic Crossweird. What better way to wake it up than with a collab! And not just any collab, but a collab with the absolute legend himself, Erik Agard! Erik is surely at the top of many crossword constructors’ collab bucket lists for (probably literally) a million reasons. Working with him was so wonderful! My American-style crossword chops were rusty, to say the least, but Erik was so gentle and generous with his always-excellent feedback, by the end I was feeling good… so good, maybe there will be another in the near future. *all the eye emojis here*

Thanks for a wonderful puzzle. Some of the cluing here was outstanding, especially 56A. Got naticked at the crossing of 37A and 3D. To be correct, the clue for 26D should have said “team” instead of “city.”
